“So, Ketsueki, how was sparring? Save any vigor for fighting me?”
-- I'm in a relatively good mood today, even though it's February. Le Gasp! So I pixelled. From the newest chapter (Twenty-seven: A New Definition to 'Combat') of Tears of the Sun. In the actual scene, Spike just has his arm around Ketsue's shoulders, and she was annoyed rather than surprised/submissive, but this worked, too. I've been looking for a way to use this base anywho. To sum it up, Ketsue had just finished sparring (and loosing) against Hiei when Spike showed up, and this was said after a few moments of cold words exchanged between the shadowcat (Which, if you aren't perceptive, is Spike's breed) and Hiei. ...Spike is officially a sexy beast. And I love him. He is 'teh awesome'. Hair: Spike's hair isn't really how it should be...that looks more like another shadowcat's hair (Skyre) who fights on his team...Spike's is more fluffy-spiked, not spike-spiked. (...Don't ask.) And apparently, anywhere that Ketsue is the wind blows. Because it's just more fun to draw hair when the wind is blowing. Easier, too. Mesh: I have no idea how the mesh goes beneath the bandage...that seems like it'd be wicked painful. It should be on top of it, but I decided to leave it as-is for now. This is possibly going to be updated anyway to add Ketsue's over-coat later on. Also, the tears in the mesh are intentional, not forgotten spots. Ketsue in general: I wish this base wasn't so thin. I don't care about her being skinny, but she's scrawny in this as well. She's built like a fighter...obviously she isn't in this. Oh well. I would have felt weird editing the base to make it more muscular--I think it would have looked weird. Height: So this isn't really realistic...Ketsue would be much shorter. But we can pretend that she's taller just because it's how the base was. Pairing: No pairing between these two. Lotsa flirting here and there, but nothing ever actually happens. -- Spike, Ketsue and Tears of the Sun are  'sBase: Bunny Stick ([link] , [link] ) EDIT: Scrapped. |
